Dishwasher chore genius

I’ve said it before – we have a very loose chore system in the Gumm house. Mom asks you to do it, you do it.

But loading and unloading the dishwasher has become a little hard to keep track of.

So after a few complaints of “I did it the last three times” I came up with this genius system. Just printed their names on cardstock, laminated it and stuck a magnet on the back.

Whoever is at the top gets called (whether it’s loading or unloading) and when they’re done they move their magnet to the bottom. (Illegal moving of your magnet means sole dishwasher duty for a week.)

So far it’s working great.
