Get your adoption fundraising idea published

I’m going to let you in on a little secret – I’m rewriting “Adopt Without Debt.”

Why? Well, I’m hoping to get it in front of some traditional publishers who might be interested. After speaking with a literary agent I realized that in order to be marketable, I needed to lengthen the book and get it within the normal 40-50,000 word count for a non-fiction book.

I’ve been plugging away for the last few weeks and am really excited about some of the new content being added to the book.

It’s also a great time to add more fundraising ideas from families and organizations.

So if you’ve had a successful fundraiser, I would LOVE to hear about. You can either leave the details in the comments, or send an e-mail to julieATjuliegummDOT.com

If you’re idea is mentioned in the new book I’ll be sure you get a free copy!

So what ideas do you have that can share with others?

My husband and I just did a Barn Dance fundrasier and raised about $2,500 toward our international adoption costs. If you’re interested I would be happy to give you more information! (louiseknight1@gmail.com)
